Small size, big personality

During the pandemic, the keyboard hobby exploded. With that many people stuck inside it was natural that the demand for keyboards would skyrocket and one of the big winners of that fight for the market was the 60% layout boards.

It was clear that the demand for the layout itself was there, but the lack of EC options bothered me. Furthermore, no standard outline or layout was yet defined for EC in the 60% so I decided to step in and base the design on the GH60 outline.

This choice, combined with the multitude of layout options available on the PCB made the EC60 a very interesting project to work on and share with others. Intended as a universal PCB for the 60% EC option I’ve realized prefabricated 3D models and assemblies that designers can grab and use to develop their cases around.
